Features:
- Exceptional Seawater Corrosion Resistance
- High Strength at Elevated Temperatures
- Excellent Resistance to Hydrofluoric & Sulfuric Acid
- Annealed Soft Temper
- High Tensile Strength
Description:
Monel 400 – a nickel‑copper blend (~67% Ni, 33% Cu) – is famed for its superior anti‑corrosion properties in saltwater, acids, and alkaline solutions. It possesses high tensile strength and toughness over temperatures from below freezing to hot extremes. This alloy is non‑magnetic, simple to weld, and impervious to stress‑corrosion cracking. Its outstanding durability suits it for marine structures, chemical reactors, and petroleum handling systems.
