Description:
With excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, acidic, and caustic environments, Monel 400 (a Ni‑Cu alloy, ~67% Ni) also retains high strength and toughness at both low and high temperatures. It is non‑magnetic, easily fabricated by welding, and shows no susceptibility to stress‑corrosion cracking. These characteristics make it highly effective for use in marine, chemical, and oil/gas applications where equipment must endure aggressive service.
