As a nickel‑copper alloy with nominal 67% nickel and 33% copper, Monel 400 offers exceptional protection against corrosive attack in marine, acidic, and alkaline media. It provides high strength and resilience across a wide temperature range, including cryogenic and high‑heat conditions. The metal is non‑magnetic, readily weldable, and resistant to stress‑corrosion cracking, making it a preferred material for critical components in chemical and offshore industries.
