This SS304 wire promises excellent anti-tarnish behavior, satisfactory drawability, and reproducible tensile figures. The annealed condition yields a non-magnetic austenitic phase, whereas cold working introduces slight ferromagnetism. The alloy’s Cr–Ni composition resists intergranular attack and high-temperature scaling. Supplied with identical diameter and a smooth passivated surface, it supports weaving, loop forming, and fusion splicing without losing its inherent stiffness or longevity.
