Jupiter Technology Achieves Breakthrough in 0.01mm Ultra‑Fine NiCr 2080 Wire – Now Available in Small Batches
Technical Milestone Achieved: Ultra-Fine NiCr 2080 Wire
We are proud to announce a major technical milestone: the successful development of 0.01mm (10‑micron) ultra‑fine NiCr 2080 wire. After months of intensive R&D and countless die‑adjustment trials, our engineering team has overcome the extreme brittleness and high‑temperature strength of this nickel‑chromium alloy to consistently produce wire at one‑hundredth of a millimetre.
NiCr 2080 (80% Ni / 20% Cr) is widely valued for its excellent oxidation resistance and stable resistivity, making it ideal for precision resistors, micro‑heaters, and sensor elements. However, drawing it down to 0.01mm has long been a challenge due to rapid work hardening and surface cracking. By optimizing our drawing sequence, modifying die geometries, and implementing advanced in‑line annealing, we have now achieved stable, repeatable production – though still at limited capacity.
Currently, we can supply this wire in small quantities for prototype evaluation and specialised applications. Each spool is fully tested for diameter tolerance (±0.001mm), tensile strength, elongation, and surface quality. We also offer custom packaging and alloy adjustments upon request.
We invite OEMs, research institutes, and component manufacturers to contact us for samples or technical discussions. Early adoption slots are limited – please reach out to our sales team at info@jupitertech.cn to secure your trial batch.
